On July 6, the FMP-Met project presented its latest results at the meeting “Environmental and meteorological SESAR exploratory research projects: key findings and solutions”. An event organized by the Università degli Studi di Napoli ‘Parthenope’ in Naples that allowed to exchange the results of those SESAR projects related to meteorology and environment.
The main outcome presented by the FMP-Met project in Naples was the development of a probabilistic methodology to forecast traffic congestion and traffic complexity, which was positively assessed by expert FMPs and can be used in conjunction with the tools they currently employ.
